He didn't have to. No jury would ever convict Starman if he did it.

They don't have to. It's done as a courtesy to the deceased. See Lay, Kenneth. Even swindling millionaires get their convictions overturned/charges dismissed in these type of cases.

    I'm torn.

I'd love to see the guy sit and rot in a cell for years.

But I'm glad tax dollars don't have to pay for his prolonged existance.

I'd give anything to beat this guy with a stick.

  5. I'd like to point out that the prison guys are supposed to stop this from happening.
    "Close supervision," my left ear.

Just like the jailhouse folks were "supposed" to stop Dahmer from being attacked.

At the time of his arrest, he was carrying a Dora the Explorer doll, hoop earrings and petroleum jelly, prosecutors said.

can't imagine what his kids are going through right now

Kenny-Boy's surely still alive and well and living in Argentina.

Hey, it worked for Eichmann for a good while.

That's exactly how I feel, except I'd spell it existence. ;)

And Fenian's right. No matter how you feel about the guy, they're supposed to stop that from happening.

  10. Let the motherfucker swing.

  11. That case is something I know a little about.
    And, yes, you're probably right.

I know you mentioned your connections to the Dahmer case before somewhere, I think, and I'll take your word on it.

I'd heard the guards let him get attacked, and maybe Dahmer wanted to have that happen, to get out of the hole and move into whatever the next life was for him.
