For guys like Cosmo, John and others....

We know Appy-Wofford is a decent game this week. Anyone got anything else?

I blame KYSportsWriter for not knowing his AP sports designators.

    (KY: It's FBC.)

Made starting this thread kind of an easy call. :)

Plus, people might actually want a place to talk about this stuff. We'll see.

Liberty wishing it was already 2010. They've had that league locked up since before the season started. They might just need some help, if I'm not mistaken.

If Liberty wins out, they'll be in, barring something strange like NAU beating Montana. Since Jerome Souers has no idea how to beat Montana, that won't happen.

Northern Iowa at Western Illinois is also a pretty big game this week, probably for the at-large out of the Missouri Valley.

For your daily Patriot League dose, Lafayette-Colgate should be pretty tight. Andy Romans is the truth.

Liberty might get in on its travel potential alone. They would actually go somewhere like Montana for a first-round game. Hell, Jerry Jr. might charter flights to it.

Anything that gets me back to Stockmen's for a night of drinking would be A-OK with me.

More likely scenario -- Liberty would go to App or JMU.

I saw a posting on craiglist by someone named D. Bennett looking for defensive coaches. Must not read blogs is one qualification.

Clearly I have to throw an AP stylebook in your Secret Santa pack. Or I could just leave you wondering what next spring's HKC and CYC running threads refer to ... ;D

The I-AA committee makes first-round games based on geography if they can. Only when there's no other option would they do otherwise, so Liberty-Montana is a longshot.

Is the kid from Manassas Park still playing QB or RB for Liberty? Kid was a stud in HS, and I remember him playing a bit at Liberty before I left the area.

James Madison barely escaped Villanova. No way in hell it should still be getting 98 or so votes.
