They're really aiming at Carl Icahn, but they met Mickelson as he was finishing his round at The Memorial on Thursday. Also a target is Mickelson's buddy, noted gambler Billy Walters.

As if Phil wasn't white enough, the key trade appears to involve Clorox.

Maybe he will end up moving out of California!

  7. Book it: Mickelson never sees the inside of a jail.
    Ever.

On Thursday, Mickelson finished bogey-double bogey-double bogey. Then the SEC introduces itself on the way to the scorer's tent. Now THAT'S a bad round.

I must add that I was off the grid yesterday (at the theater!) and missed this story when it first broke. But when I picked up the Wall Street Journal on my doorstep this morning and saw the headline "Stock Probe Eyes Icahn, Gambler, Top Golfer" I knew immediately without reading further it was Mickelson. And so did everybody else who's followed golf for more than an hour and a half.
