Iowa State has had some defensive issues in recent weeks, methinks.

...and will fail miserably, as Saban chuckles to himself, "this is why I recommended Dooley for the job, you asswipe Hamilton!".

Messrs. doubledown and womack, a hypothetical for you: Best case scenario, Mizzou splits with OU and Nebraska. Which game would you rather have the team win - beat OU, and potentially derail their national title hopes, or beat Nebraska, virtually guaranteeing a Big 12 North title and a possible rematch with OU in December?

If it had to be either/or, I'd take beating Nebraska, even not taking the title ramifications into account. I want to send their sorry asses to the Big Ten with their tail between their legs.

Amen -- and not even close. I'd settle for a win over the nubs and 2 losses to OU.

Not a very bold prediction. How in the world did the Jayhawks ever beat Georgia Tech? And how in the world can Georgia Tech sleep at night, knowing that game happened?

I mentioned in last week's thread that the Kansas win over Tech is in retrospect more shocking to me than Va. Tech's loss to James Madison. By the way, North Dakota State is tied for last in the Missouri Valley

My top 5 most shocking results so far:

    1. South Dakota State losing by only 17-3 to Nebraska.
    2. Kansas beating Georgia Tech.
    3. James Madison beating Virginia Tech
    4. Jacksonville State beating Mississippi State
    5. Utah State losing by only 7 to Oklahoma

I'd do some rearranging with that list...

    1. James Madison beating Virginia Tech
    2. Jacksonville State beating Mississippi State
    3. Kansas beating Georgia Tech
    4. Utah State losing by only 7 to Oklahoma
    5. South Dakota State losing by only 14 points to Nebraska

I'm borderline giddy for this Auburn-LSU game.

Jacksonville State (7-0) beat Ole Miss in season opener.
They are scared to play Mississippi State

(And don't act like you didn't know what you were typing, Dools)

As per usual, it will be a sight to behold
