So Cody is out, what, two games? If Tennessee can get a consistent ground game going and keep the score low, it has a shot.

If he's back for LSU, that's huge for Alabama ...

 

You're never playing with house money at Alabama. The Crimson part of that state now expects to see them in the national championship game this year. Anything less will be a failure.

 

If Alabama loses to Tennessee, it won't matter....as much, at least.

I know a few Bammers who would rather see their precious Tide not even make the title game rather than make it and lose.
