After losing a three-year starter at quarterback (Reesing), two NFL wide receivers (Meier, Briscoe), a starting running back (Sharp) and a rash of injuries -- especially at linebacker -- before the season began, there was no question this was coming. And that's not to mention the change at head coach.

Thankfully, KU doesn't play Texas or Oklahoma this season.

I'm sorry to hear this news and for the UMass band and faithful. My prayers and sympathy to his family and the band. They'll play their hearts out tomorrow.

38-24 Nevada late in the 3rd. Great game.

One of the big drawbacks of a 12-team conference, the lack of a complete round robin, which creats a competitive imbalance. Who you skip is almost as important as who you play.

Of course, that's resolved next year (no way Colorado stays in, that will be resolved), and then the new Pac-12 will have that same problem.

Cal defense has no clue what is coming.
Hasn't been mentioned on the game broadcast, but Tedford went for it on fourth because he knows his defense can't stop Nevada's offense. FG would have done them no good.

As much as I hate the trend of trying to make college ball an NFL clone, it is time to adopt the pro replay procedure.

Said it before, say it again: Tedford is the most overrated coach in the country.

Make it 52 for the pride of Reno. Cal can't stop shit flowing uphill.

    Welllll . . . we had 'em being 0-1. ;D

Pirates have played far better than most expected . . . but still think there has to be some type of serious
internal VT cancer for them to go 0-3. Will keep an eye out.
