Brett Favre makes a threat promise: If Southern Miss makes it back to the College World Series, he'll come back to the NFL.
If they just make it to a super regional, will he make a comeback in the CFL?
And for the record, Southern Miss is in second place in C-USA after ripping off a 12-game winning streak. Might be a longshot to make it to the CWS, but they should at least make the NCAA Tournament.

He's coming back anyway. It won't matter how So. Miss. fares.

If any team with a mascot that end in "S" makes the series he'll go back to the NFL. Geez, why don't the Vikes just say, it's okay Brett if you don't want to come back we're covered. Stay home.

Losers of 14 of their last 15 games, Mississippi State went to the USM campus and pulled off a 16-9 win earlier this week.
Southern fans were crying after that one that the NCAA bid might be lost.

This would mean something if he said he wouldn't be back if they didn't make the CWS.
