    Brett Favre knew there would be skeptical looks and snickers, so perhaps that's why he waited until near the end of his 33-minute news conference Wednesday to inform the masses that this season would be his last.

    That's right. A guy who has retired twice -- after the 2007 and 2008 seasons, only to return before ever missing a regular-season game -- announced he would not be back in 2011.

    Good to know that after Harvin was driven away in an ambulance after going unconscious, they continue with 10 more plays at Favre's suggestion.

    No one is as committed as Favre to that team, not even Mr. Noodle.
