Jay Glazer reporting that Favre is calling it quits. I guess it was about the records. He finally has a very good young team around him and he quits.

I'll believe it when he doesn't walk out on the field next season.

Heh. Unforeseen by who? Favre? Glazer?

A good scoop if true, but the caveat is sort of weak.

  6. Hmmm, why couldn't Glazer get a named source? I didn't necessarily believe it.

Good for the Sun Herald to get his brother on the record. Now I believe it.

When he threw that INT, I thought he'll be back. But that's kind of silly, he's had a great career.

Any chance Glazer got it from the Sun Herald?

"Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre has decided to retire, ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting.

Mortensen reported that according to Favre's agent, Bus Cook, Favre has informed Packers coach Mike McCarthy of his decision.

    Foxsports.com first reported Favre's decision."

Surprising of ESPN to give any credit to Fox...

I'll believe it when they pry Brett Favre from our cold, dead hands.
