Much as I loathe them, the Vikings are going to have something to say about that.

Especially if they were to pick up a QB.

A couple points: KC has been the home for almost-done quarterbacks for damn near 20 years (Steve DeBerg, Dave Kreig (sp?), Joe Montana, etc.).

    And it's Vicodin, not Percocet.

    And a running back.

  5. Joke, right? God I hope so.

    My bad.

you also forgot a few players on that list. Such as:

    Steve Fuller
    Bill Kenney
    Todd Blackledge
    Mark Vlasic
    Steve Bono
    Elvis Grbac
    Trent Green
    Damon Huard
    Brodie Croyle

  7. Fuck.
    For so many reasons, fuck.

I'm sticking with my hunch, but my seat is getting less and less comfortable as the days go by ...

I mean QBs on their last legs/teams. Blackledge was their fucking pick during the Class of '83, when they could have had Elway and, I think, Marino instead. (It was the Class of '83, right? My sports trivia knowledge is shitty at best.)

And, yeah, Bono sucked, but Green had the unfortunate timing to have a great offense with the shittiest defense since, like, forever. Derrick Thomas, although dead, weeps.

Well, at least that one went far enough over your head that it probably didn't knock your hat off.

And no, they did not pass on John Elway in '83. Elway was the first overall pick in the draft.

They did pass on Marino. Jim Kelly, too.

Favre hands off to Peterson. Just rolls off the tongue.
