Our daughter won’t watch Bill Cosby. She says that he would probably put her to sleep.

    3. Reuben Kincaid (Danny Partridge’s real father)

1). Tim Taylor (Every kid's idea of a fun-loving, and fun, loving dad)

2). Ben Cartwright (Had just the right amount of gravitas when needed, even though, outside of the white hair, his grown kids looked like they were in practically the same generation as him)

3). Charles Ingalls (the dad everyone thinks of when they think of a good TV dad)

4). Lucas McCain (bad-ass dad who was nonetheless as straight an arrow as they came; have never forgotten the episode where he gunshot-scared the horses away, then did target practice on the only bottles of water and made two guys walk through the mountains and desert at rifle-point, back to the sheriff's office, after the came to the ranch and badly injured Mark, almost killing him).

5). Jack Pearson (considering he only had one season in which to do it before they killed him off, this character really grew on you and you got a strong sense that he was a good dad in a low-key, understated kind of way. Maybe just good acting, but it actually makes me mad that they had him die at the end of the first season. I want to see more, without there having to be flashbacks all the time).

My HM: Jason Seaver (The "doctor" part of his role was underemphasized, but if you had to have someone psychoanalyzing you at home all the time, he wouldn't have been a bad choice).

This is tough... for the pure enjoyment of the show and what they mean to the show.

    Marty Byrd
Cliff Steele is really growing on me

I reserve the right to add more.
