Favorite Summertime Drinks

I second that. Cherry limeaid could be one of the best refreshers ever. I also don't say no to strawberry lemonade.

I also like ice-cold Pepsi, straight out of the can. Gatorade, for when it's hot and I have to be outside.

For alcoholic beverages, I personally like Bahama Mamas. Nothing beats a good quantity of rum. Another good standby is the Amaretto sour.

It's tasty, it's classified as a well, not a call, meaning it's relatively inexpensive (unless you want a Disarrono sour, which is worth paying the extra for if you want to splurge) and unless you down about 10 of them, it's hard to get really wasted on them. It was always my drink of choice when I was the "designated almost-sober person" (meaning, that person who was tipsy but in charge of taking care of the rest of the people to make sure they didn't set themselves on fire or get arrested or anything).

Sonic's beverages of the limeaid variety are a distant but still enjoyable second.

 

Non-alcoholic
1. Sweet tea
2. Lemonade (more sweet than sour)

Alcoholic
1. Beer. Cold beer. Beer so cold it's almost a slushie.
2. Pimm's No. 1 and lemonade

 

Orange whip.

 

Ice water.

amaretto sour? drink of the puking freshmen girls....it is NOT hard to get drunk on them......
