That's a great get. One of the best scenes in that movie.

Good one. Best part of that scene is when Herman gets done with his tryout, Durocher turns to the newspaper guy and says "I don't know if we should send him to the Dodgers or to Vietnam!"

Good pull - forgot about Viet Nam line.

Also love the ending when same reporter who was with Durocher is walking with Ram GM Elroy Hirsch and a football lands in front of them. Hirsch mentions that field is 4 blocks away. Reporter responds "don't ask"

The various celebrity cameos on The Flintstones are worth mentioning:

    Ann-Margrock (Ann-Margret)
    Stony Curtis (Tony Curtis)
    Carey Granite (Carey Grant)
    Rock Quarry (Rock Hudson)

Not sure which ones actually appeared or were "voice-impersonated," though ...

One of the weirdest cameos/small parts? Anthony Munoz in The Right Stuff as the orderly Gonzalez when the astronauts are undergoing testing.

    From Kentucky Fried Movie:
--Stephen Bishop ("Show me your('re) nuts.")
--"Donald Sutherland as the clumsy waiter."
    --"George Lazenby as the governor."

And a Cold Case in which Barry Bostwick in Rocky Horror Horror Picture Show appeared on the movie screen behind the latter-day Barry Bostwick dancing in front of the screen
