That was my first thought, but it wasn't a Motown song. It was right after she left.

Deserves every consideration, no doubt ...

Surely I'm not the only person who thinks "You Keep Me Hangin' On," by the Supremes is the greatest Motown song ever recorded.

    Guessing they're Motown:

    "Sir Duke" by Stevie Wonder
    "Nightshift" by The Commodores
"You'll Never Find" by Lou Rawls

At our wedding, we played "I Believe When I Fall In Love With You It Will Be Forever" by Stevie Wonder.

Best Motown song ever? Nah. But a very personal one.

Have you heard the instumental track without the vocals? Incredible. You can't believe all the stuff that's buried under the vocals under the final mix.

Do they have to have specifically sung the song on the Motown label, or can it qualify if it has the Potter Stewart-approved Motown Sound? Lindsay Lohan, Yummy Bingham and Nick Cannon are Motown-signed artists, while the O'Jays and later Gladys Knight and the Pips are being DQ'd, even though spiritually they're right there.
