Both pretty cool. I do like their cover of Stairway To Heaven:

I'm a big fan. I've posted them on my running Guitar Stuff thread.
He writes and arranges the music, so obviously he's very talented, but she's the one that makes their sound so interesting and unique.

I read a while ago that they had to take a hiatus because she develops micro fractures in hand because of her playing style.

Me too. I'm a big fan of classical / Spanish guitar music and they have created a unique sound within.

If you have DirecTV, they did a Guitar Center Presents episodes.
    It replays often.

Most of it is posted in segments on the YouTubes.
Nice to see it through, though, with performance and interview segments.
Although they don't always get people I find interesting, they do a nice job with ther performance and Harcourt interview segments.

Anyway, great backstory on Rodrigo and Gabriela. Each played metal in Mexico City. They got together, went to the Mexican resorts and started playing as an acoustic duet, playing metal tunes masquerading as Spanish, classic and classical pieces. An Irish tourist told them they should go to Dublin, so they packed up and moved.
They were busking in Dublin when they were 'discovered.'

They also have some kind of groovy, open, hippy, free-love relationship.

Ed Van Halen, 1b right next to Jimi at 1a, because both changed the way the game was played at their respective times, and everyone else jumped in line to follow their lead. ... Today, it's John Petrucci. YouTube him and/or Dream Theater.

Great call on James Honeyman-Scott, his awesome guitar break on "Tattooed Love Boys" is one of my fave of all time.

No mention of Joe Bonamassa? This thread blows.
