Greatest drive I've ever seen and it stopped that damn band from playing that damn song:

Damn, that's some dramatic background music. I kept expecting to hear John Facenda.

I honestly didn't recognize the background music, though I felt like I did. Just couldn't place it.

Same here. And I switched the link so the KU fight song so it plays now.

To atone for posting that disturbing trio of bluebirds, here's a much more pleasant KU photo:

no nudity, but possibly NSFW due to some serious thigh action.

    Much, much better. Rock chalk.

That is a great picture made even better by the 'O' face on the girl on the right.

My dad went to grad school at East Tennessee State, and he said all the local places that had live music forbid anyone from playing "Rocky Top" because it was so overplayed. Personally, I kinda like it, but I can see how it would get old.

The insane preoccupation/way-beyond-healthy obsession Texas A&M has in its quest to shake its inferiority complex toward Texas prevents an otherwise interesting song from being a good one.

There's one distinct difference in the way Longhorns and Aggies treat others. Horns don't think you're worthy of being one of them, and Aggies think you have something wrong with you if you don't want to be one of them.

Since a few people mentioned "Texas Fight" and "On Wisconsin" I added those to the poll. I guess I'm one of the few who likes "Boomer Sooner"

OK, bear with me here, I know this is off topic.

But something like this is enough to make me weep tears of joy. It's worth leaving the collegiate ranks to visit the pro sidelines for this...

    NSFW (no nudity, but still)

Ok, carry on with the fight song discussion...

By the way dargan, you characterized the UT/A&M thing accurately...

I think that's what Nelly meant when he talked about applebottoms or other rappers when they say "junk in the trunk."

As for the A&M / UT thing: Can't they all just go to a 6th street bar or the Dixie Chicken, have a few bocks and be friends?
