Father and Son both number 1?

    Back in 1982, Shawon Dunston was the number 1 pick in the MLB draft. Next year, his son, Shawon Dunston Jr. could be number 1.

    off the top of my head, the only thing close would be the Mannings in football. Archie was No. 3, and the boys were top picks.

    Apparently a third baseman named Rendon is the early favorite next year. Or Bryce Harper, if the Nats don't get it done tonight.

    Archie was No. 2. Stanford's Jim Plunkett went No. 1 overall to the New England Patriots and Manning No. 2 to the Saints in 1971. Santa Clara's Dan Pastorini went No. 3 overall to the Houston Oilers.
