    Per FOX News flash.

    Believed to be children.

    WTF?

Edit: Story looks to be false.

    A drug cartel's work, perhaps?

I don't know, but I'm going to go out on a limb and guess they aren't the children of rich, white people.

If that initial report is accurate, there appears to be several homes nearby.

I just read this story in Texas Monthly a little while ago.

    http://www.texasmonthly.com/preview/2011-04-01/feature

Unfortunately it's registration-only link. But there was a serial killer in Houston in the 1970s named Dean Corll. His accomplice killed him as the police were closing in, but they eventually connected him to, I believe, 32 murders -- or whatever number was one more than the existing United States "record" for a serial killer. According to the article, there were very good reasons to believe there were more victims, perhaps even dozens more, but there was also enormous political pressure to stop counting because it was already an embarrassment to the Houston Police Department and its shoddy police work.

I don't know the geography enough to know if the location makes sense or how old the bodies are. But I'm sure checking for a link to Corll is on the to-do list for the police today.

KHOU is reporting the bodies were found at a rural home. Don't know if drug cartel fits with that.

    But Holy God, how horrible.

Reuters is now reporting the grave "includes children" not exclusively children.

    OK ...

Liberty County officials said they have no evidence of "deceased persons" despite earlier reports of dozens of bodies found in a rural area.

Holy crap! 30 bodies to nothing?

FOX was talking about a "tipster." Maybe it was just a crazy person.

It was a psychic, according to Trace Gallagher. I guess that's all we need to know.

Houston Chronicle source says it was a psychic, too:
