In name only, Slappy. In name only (fall on a Tuesday).

A sign your career is over: In order to get noticed, your name is stitched into each item of clothing you own.

    Holy Cheese Whiz!

I'm now checking the weather for the rest of the week.

I forgot to mention that I probably hate winter more than I like fall, so it's a bittersweet season.

I like the fall, but that time just between winter and summer when it is in the 70's- mid 80's morning noon and night, That is the best time for me

Never pass up a chippie... when you do, you'll regret it later...

I like the fall, but that means no hurricanes for another nine months, so my usefulness to the board is winding down quickly. Oh well, they moved Stephanie Abrams to her own show, so it's all good.

When I was younger, the best thing about fall was hurling hedgeapples. Either they were squishy, or they were hard enough to induce trauma.

A close second was smashing pumpkins. One evening I was prepared to set a single-gourd weight record. Just picking the thing up was a major accomplishment. All I could do was release it on the porch. Didn't make a dent in the pumpkin, but there was a serious indentation left on the wooden porch.

I decided to retire from smashing pumpkins after that.

Here's hoping you still get royalties.

So you bought a new computer AND stocked up on sweaters?
Was it Pick Six? The Magic Number? A scratch off game?

A loaded shotgun and nothing left to lose?
