Do you have plans for 2017? USA Hockey Magazine, the world’s most widely circulated hockey publication, is accepting applications for its fall/winter internship at USA Hockey’s national office in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Candidates must possess a strong journalism background, with sound writing skills and a strong foundation in copy editing and proofreading. A solid background in social media is essential. A working knowledge of ice hockey is highly recommended but not a deal breaker.
Interns will assist the editor in all facets of publishing the official magazine of USA Hockey, including, but not limited to, writing, editing, proofreading, instructing freelance writers and arranging photo shoots.
The paid internship starts on or about Sept. 1 with a flexible completion date in April.
Interested candidates should email a cover letter, resume and no more than three writing samples to Harry Thompson at HarryT@usahockey.org.

This position has my name written all over it. Is the compensation sizable enough for a recent college grad to live off of?
