That was probably the most entertaining part of the newscast...

Oh, come on. Who among us has not bonked into a wall or a signpost, even while at work, because we weren't paying attention to our surroundings?

    That said...

Ouch! That really looked painful ... but was so hilarious.

All you hear him say as he goes down is "oh God" in the most quivering voice I have ever heard. Haha. This made my day.

    Chuck Storm.
    Yep.
    Right.

Nice pratfall there, Chuck. Or -- as your mother named you -- Charles Maniczewski (I'm guessing, but I'm probably more right than wrong).
That was always my first inkling that TV news is a joke. If you have to make up a name rather than use your own, DING! DING! DING! You're full of shit.

Hannah Storm's last name actually is Storen. TV and radio people commonly do that kind of stuff. I don't know of a print person who has.

I love the guy I saw once in the Columbus area — Kent Justice. You guessed it, he does investigative journalism.

Samantha Ryan is not Samantha Ryan's real name, but I don't care. She can call herself whatever she wants, though Samantha is a fantastic choice.

As for the clip: I had to watch it twice. Just too damn funny.

That was great. Seems to me they would have practiced or thought this out before taping and noticed the giant metal pole next to them.
