Damn, y'all mentioned jean jackets (I know I had at least 1-2 of those in the early '90s), but I haven't seen this one, even more popular (and more dangerous, depending on how bad somebody wanted one):

    Starter jackets :D

I have a red Blackhawks Starter jacket and a black Bruins Starter jacket. They are fucking sweet, and even though I know I look like a big geek when I wear them, I wear them nevertheless...although not that often.

Cooler still are the old Blackhawks jackets from Gunzo's, with the script lettering on the front and the C-and-tomahawks on the shoulders. Since no one gives a shit about the Hawks any more, maybe I can find one on eBay one of these days.

EDIT: The yellow Lakers Starter jackets were some ugly shit.

We didn't look any dumber in the 1980s than kids today look.

Oh, how dumb the kids with the flat-billed hats are going to feel when they get older.

    How utterly, moronically dumb.

Those "ass antlers" tattoos are going to look pretty silly on little old ladies.

Oh, and how stupid will low-rider jeans look ten years hence?

    Muffin tops?

    Egads.

Zeke, I gotta say I like the low-riding jeans. Jeans have definitely improved.
Although you can't call tattooing a fad, I think it certainly has gone crazy in the last couple of decades. No longer limited to military boys. I'll stand by my tats, but there will be a lot of tattooed folks in the old folks' home one of these days.

I still have my Dolphins starter jacket. It's a little tight these days but I throw it on every now and then to run to the store.

Porn music that sounds like....70s porn music. They just don't make 'em like they used to.

Going way, way back...when I was kid in the 70s, there were these NFL jackets made in the style of lettermen jackets...wool (or facsimile thereof) with leather (probably fake leather) sleeves. I never had one, but they were all the rage.
