Fads you remember fondly

Girls and guys both used them when I was in high school. The preferred model was 6-8 inches long with the handle on one end, and guys carried them in their back pockets with the handle sticking out.

 

Now the preferred model is stuck in the fros of the middle school males in my hometown which is generally 10 years behind the rest of the country.

 

Edgar Winter rocks, baby. I think Dan Hartman, of "I Can Dream About You" "fame" used one but he was veteran of Winter's bands in the 70s.

 

A kid in my class was so anal, he would make sure he had a comb that matched the color in the logo of his various Guess? jeans. (I think they were Guess)

 

They weren't picks. They were just big plastic combs.
