Facebook to launch vanity URLs on Saturday

    Many thanks to the individual who PMed me to let me know the URL I posted is a link to my Facebook page and I'm outing myself.

    But, uh, I knew that already.

    So the rush will be on right after midnight Friday night, I suppose to get the Facebook URL that you desire.

    I also find the quizzes stupid and maddening, and hide them one-by-one when I see another one.

    Even better, if you left click on "status updates" and hold it, you can move it to the top of the list. Then, every time you go to your page and click on "home" your default list will be status updates.
