F&G alums about to rub NBC execs' noses in it yet again

Honestly, this may be the best trailer for my money since There's Something About Mary.

Finally, James Franco taps into his strong suit again.

And, Gary Cole is so fucking money.

    I cannot wait.

I dig the Rogan/Apatow movies as much as anybody, but I don't see how they're "rubbing NBC execs noses in it."

As brilliant as it was, F&G wasn't drawing enough ratings to stay on the air. Blame the viewers.

    No.

I blame NBC for not recognizing its genius and marketing the show into the No. 1 spot.

That is the only difference between a stupid hit and a genius show terminated after one year.

    Not the viewers' fault.

If memory serves, they were constantly moving the timeslot, which is the fastest way to kill a show...

If it hadn't worked out that way, then there's a chance these movies aren't being made.

They all might be into the eighth season of the show and everybody on here would be griping about how F&G had lost its fastball from the first season.

Apatow, Franco, Segel, Rogen and Cardellini all seem to be doing pretty well all things considered... :D

    Don't change the subject.

Obviously, that's how it worked out.

But any NBCer involved in the hijinks pulled on that show, and Apatow himself really, deserve walking papers.

I'm still waiting for the comedy blockbuster vehicle for Millie.

I liked Freaks & Geeks as much as the next guy, but at what point can we all move on and remember that every year there is at least one "brilliant" show that doesn't catch on? It's just television.

Yeah, and that high school coach who cut Jordan should be fired too!

Ah, but which movie will be funnier: Pineapple Express or Zach and Miri Make a Porno?
