Explosions in Dallas

A lot of firemen have told me that an awful lot of fires end that way, especially chemical fires and, oddly, forest fires.

 

Report is a truck in the parking lot caught on fire somehow and that's what triggered the explosions.

 

Holy crap. What's the over/under on length of the traffic jam? 450 miles?

 

I just saw a guy on TV who's a spokesman for Parkland Hospital.
Still gives me chills.

 

What'd he say?

 

It gives him chills b/c it reminds Fenian of when he came home from his retirement party in Nov of 1963 and watched Walter Cronkite give reports of the goings on there.

 

Two people seriously hurt.
No deaths.

Yeah it's hard to believe nobody was killed.

 

Actually poin, I remember CBS getting live updates from a young local reporter named Dan Rather

 

He is thinking that Kennedy was just about to end the Viet Nam war and Nixon would have never had to the opportunity to escalate it like he did.

 

Oh, Boom, ease it back before the historical facts come back to bite you in the ass again.
And the fact that nobody died in this thing today amazes me.
