    Sounds like he doesn't get along with someone at his shop, so he uses Coach K to make his generalizing point about "online people."

    The really good online bosses don't want to get rid of the writers and deskers. They just envision a day when those writers and deskers work for them and not for print.

    I can't think of anything as cool as the "Cereal Killer" moniker placed on Steve Price when he took over a decade ago.

    I think that was Mark Willes, the General Mills exec who was the Times' publisher back in 1997 or so who then parachuted away with a $60 million severance package after the Staples Center controversy.
