I have no idea what the backdoor boogie is. And I didn't "pay" my friend.

You couldn't figure out the going rate for imaginary friends, eh?

There is no rate for friendship Ragu. I'm still waiting for the definition of backdoor boogie.

I had a friend who was down on his luck. He tried pan-handling, but eventually had to swicth to male prostitution. Imagine my surprise when I called the escort service and he showed up.
We had a good laugh over that one.

He eventually gave up the male prostitution to become a harvester for Chinese organ thieves. Seems to be doing quite well.

    This is BS, Buck.

Indonesian organ thieves pay a lot better.

The annual UW drive was a huge racket at my old paper. I think the publisher sat on the local UW board because we would get clobbered over the head with the give message for weeks. All the department heads were responsible for collecting donations from their employees in a "contest", yet the ones who came in last were allegedly reprimanded rather than just told "thanks for the effort." And there were so many bake sales around the office in the name of the UW, I stopped buying cookies. And that never happens!

Would Jerry's Kid's fall in the same category as panhandlers?

True, but the tools were locked in a shed, I think.

I always found it strange how we would get hit over the head by the whole 'conflict of interest' thing every year or so when some shit would hit the fan, yet, every year, coincidentally, I'm sure, my (now-former) paper would run a bunch of UW stories right during their annual drive.
