It's even more than that. This all took place in the San Antonio area, south central Texas. What kind of complete goddamn fool would a ref hsve to be to spew racial epithets during a game and expect to make it to the parking lot alive?

It's all made up. Complete bullshit.

 

ESPN has a super-secret sideline source who heard the ref say those slurs. It has to be true.

 

Yep, that's Texas in a nutshell, "ref made bad calls (of course he's supposed to be perfect, I as coach have never made a mistake) so let's hit a defenseless ref in the back notwithstanding risk of broken neck."

 

It's not really another player assault but here's a video where a ref in Midland gets hit by an extra point attempt. (Of course, the kicker might be especially sneaky but well...)
