---"Well, if you didn't make it back to the barracks room until 1645, how could you be in your room at 1620?"

--- "Well, you see, sir, there was a blow out."

---"Corporal, did you ever actually hear Lt. Kendrick order the Code Red?"

It's even more than that. This all took place in the San Antonio area, south central Texas. What kind of complete goddamn fool would a ref hsve to be to spew racial epithets during a game and expect to make it to the parking lot alive?

It's all made up. Complete bullshit.

ESPN has a super-secret sideline source who heard the ref say those slurs. It has to be true.

Yep, that's Texas in a nutshell, "ref made bad calls (of course he's supposed to be perfect, I as coach have never made a mistake) so let's hit a defenseless ref in the back notwithstanding risk of broken neck."

Hope he called that shot: "Off the ref's head, off the crossbar and through."

Reminds me of the 80s McDonald's commercial with Pete Stoyanovich and Chip Lohmiller where they were spoofing the Jordan/Bird bet for Big Macs.
