    Actually, everything changed on 1/93 when it became acceptable for the White House to hold the FBI files of some 800 political enemies. The beginning of the domestic spying program.

    By the way, one of the "800 files" was that of noted Clinton political opponent James Carville.
    You should really read more than one book and listen to more than one radio station.

  5. Oh. In that case, Y2K was a bunch of trumped up bullshit caused by non-technical people misunderstanding how computers work. They threw money at programmers to fix what were really minor problems. Programmers, being smart guys, gladly accepted their money.

    In some instances it was a bunch of bullshit. In others it was completely real and very much a problem.
