The release of another Toby Keith song is a national tragedy in and of itself.

How can anyone say that column was ballsy? It's irresponsible, ridiculous prattle that rises to the level of "we need a war to straighten everyone out."

And the definition of unity being mindlessly waving the flag while we project problems of our own onto a boogie man halfway around the world is no unity I want a part of. It's unity based on fear and it's as false as the premise of the column is.

 

If we change our national anthem, it will be to the Spider Pig song.

 

Uh, no. I can get by without ever hearing another Koby Teith song again. I'll be just fine.

No, but the Toby Keith and the Darryl Worley are in, as we used to say, in heavy rotation.

Seriously, this is perilously close to an act of sedition. Forget letter writers. He may get a visit from the feds.

 

I liked the part where he ranted about the soldiers in Iraq fighting for the crowd's right to show their tits. With the American flag in the background.

I know I was proud to be an American. I've had a lot of fun bein' one.

Keeping with this topic: Darryl Worely kicks ass. Actually he is much better than Toby Keith. But I don't mind listening to him either.
