Newspapers publish moron contrarian views of something people enjoyed and then wonder why they are becoming less popular.
    But hey, it got clicks!!!

Amusing cutline on an AP photo today:

"Country singer Joe McDonald plays during the Heros of Woodstock concert at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, N.Y. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, marking the 40th anniversary of the original 1969 Woodstock concert."

    Country singer?

Kind of sad lost in all the Woodstock coverage was the 40th Anniversary of Hurricane Camille, Killed 248 people in Mississippi and was the most powerful hurricane to hit land in U.S. History. Caused $1.5 billion in damage in 1969 dollars ($22b in today's dollars, 10th on the list), 150 of the dead were from flooding in Virginia.

Next up in the 40th Anniversary of the Week Club. My Lai Massacre, Sept. 5th.
