at exactly 12:35 p.m. EDT, SportsJournalists.com takes a 10-15-minute "lunch break?" and I get a "connection problems, server may not be available" message.

    Anybody know why?

Nope but the same thing happens to me.

It used to do it around 1:15 p.m. EST. I guess it has not changed its clock yet.

Maybe everybody tries to log on at that time?

For me it usually happens at the office around 10 a.m., after that second cup of coffee runs its course.

Wait, what were we talking about?

I'm pretty sure that's what Webby said a while back. I could be so wrong.

I'm just like Spnited. Goes out on me at 12:35 p.m.

It used to be 11:35 before daylight savings. Webby adjusts for no one; they can adjust to Webby.

There was a thread on this a while back. My favorite explanation:

    Moderators' smoke break.

It's a cue for everyone to step outside and enjoy fresh air for a little while.
