Ever wonder what....Andy Rooney will do in retirement?

Andy Rooney should make the news for one reason and one reason only. And he shouldn't be replaced on 60 Minutes at all. They should give the features more time if they need them or, in the alternative, read mail (or other feedback) at the end of the show. I watch 60 Minutes religiously and I never remember if he's on a particular week or not because I lunge for the remote when I see him.

But Andy Rooney wouldn't do this. He would start off by saying that the post office is threatened by this newfangled thing called e-mail that all the kids are doing. It just show up on your computer, whatever that is.

And some wacky futurists even get messages on their telephones! But he tried one weekend and his grandkids can't seem to get work it on his rotary phone.

And did you ever wonder why someone would want a phone without a cord attached?

Don't know what he'll do. But we have a columnist who could take his place in a heartbeat, and no one would be the wiser.

Awesome. I was going to post discuss the English language and racialism with Ali G.

I read "My War", about his time as a journalist in the Army during WW2, when I was younger and really liked it, so I've always had a soft spot for Rooney.
