Ever seen a Baptist dad do this?

So how long should your sister have spent in jail?

And there's women out there who would say those doctors helped their lives. Not to dismiss the guilt they may feel, but not everyone believes that abortion is murder. It's not a pleasant choice. But it's a choice that should be available.

It's not a growing truth. It's always been that way. Since when has anyone wanted to be accountable?

As far as your sister goes, not to sound mean here, but maybe instead of hitting the bottle, she should have received counseling.

And if the first counselor is too judgmental, then go to a second one, and so on. And the counseling needn't focus on the mother-baby relationship that was terminated, but rather the fact that we're all human, we all make mistakes, and while it's normal to feel guilt over something like what she did, she shouldn't destroy her life over it. If anything, she should live well, get her act together, meet a good guy, and eventually be the best mother she can be.

The sooner mankind realizes it's all a bunch of hocus-pocus, the better off man will be.

So having one abortion didn't leave her guilt-wracked, but the second one did, Printdust? Wow.

Of course, under the Shiria-law lite version you espouse for America, she'd probably be dead after getting an infection using a dirty coat hanger following that first abortion, so the second one never would have happened and you, her, and the unborn baby would all be better off, I take it?

You didn't say it was reasonable. You said that the abortion doctor is a mass murderer, then added that you would send him to jail instead. The implication was that other people might choose to attack or kill the abortion doctor because he's a mass murderer and deserves it.

It goes along with the premise of your first post on this thread ... that on the heinous continuum of crimes, what abortion doctor killers do isn't as heinous as what the Jordan man did to his daughter.

My point is that both acts are the same at their core because both the abortion doctor killer and the Jordan man attacked people that violated their religious code.

You seem to find a difference in the two acts.

Would have could have. It exemplifies what many women go through, and not because of political viewpoints. Natural reality is often a kick in the ass. One wouldn't go to counseling unless there was a problem, would they? Hence, abortion creates the problem.

I'd suggest reading "Mere Christianity" by C.S.Lewis or any of Lewis' books. Great reading for the atheist, which he once was. You sound like someone who likes to read.

So then, since your sister didn't go to counseling, then she shouldn't have had a problem with the abortions, right?

But from what you say, she did. And instead of getting help, she chose the bottle. That's on her, not the abortions.

And there are women out there who have the abortion, and feel relief afterwards. Every individual is different.
