In this day and age, pretty much anyone's a candidate.

 

Not a single one of those factors -- and not even all those factors together -- outweighs life.

If you think otherwise, then what's the difference between those factors when the woman is pregnant and those factors when the child is 2 weeks old? Absolutely nothing.

No matter how you slice it, abortion is the taking of a life for reasons that aren't good enough.

 

not by the numbers, my friend. very few women abort children that will be supported both mentally and financially by their fathers.

So in order to discontinue the practice of abortion, you are willing to provide access and funding for contraceptives, child care, child support, education and health care?

Because each one of those lives needs things. They need food. Shelter. Education. Medicine. They need to be cared for by loving caregivers.

Are you willing to increase the living wage in the workforce? Are you willing to fund law enforcement and social workers to crack down on deadbeat parents? Are you willing to fund the foster care system?

I'm sorry, but throwing around Republican poster slogans about "life" isn't offering a solution to the perceived problem. I want to know if those who believe in allowing life at all costs are willing to foot the bill for those costs.

 

And throwing out other talking points doesn't help much, either.

 

So basically what you want is cradle-to-grave government care, and if you don't get that, then you'll kill the innocent children.

My position is that it's never OK to kill innocent children, but apparently you will use innocent children as pawns to get the socialist state you want.

 

Neither does spouting a moral absolute and not allowing for any discussion.
