    This says they're considering a plan to have him lead the NFL pre-game show from the site of the game he'll be calling:

    What happens around baseball playoff time?
    How does he prepare for both game and studio show?
    How does he do in-game highlights for all the other sites?
    How does he deal with the delay from stoudio when voicing highlights?

    This doesn't sound too well thought out to me.

    In this entire huge continent, there is apparently no one else available who can host an NFL pre-game show to Fox's satisfaction.
