Evan Grant leaves Dallas Morning News

    Big, BIG mistake. Evan was very knowledgeable about his craft and it showed in his writing and his newsletters. (No, my last name isn't Grant. lol)

    Just merge the frickin' papers and create one big one. As it is, these nicks and scrapes and cuts are wrecking what was a great sports setting.
     
  2. Good for Evan. He's one of the best baseball writers out there, and the few times I've spoken with him, he's been an awesome, stand-up guy.

    The Dallas Morning News is a failure. A big, fat failure of a newspaper.

    i wonder how stable grant feels when on the same day as the announcement about his new gig, the fine folks at the new place announce they're going through another round of layoffs.
