Etta James hospitalized, has Alzheimer's

    Unfortunately, we have an explanation for her outburst about Beyonce last year.

    My grandmother has Alzheimer's. My great-aunt has a form of dementia. This is really sad.

    If anyone doesn't know, she's famous for the song "At Last."

    I assumed Etta James had been dead for years.

    Regardless, that's sad to hear. "At Last" is a wonderful song.

    Nope. She just celebrated her 72nd birthday.

    Her father? Minnesota Fats.

    Sadly, she only saw him once -- at a hotel room in 1987.
