    Maybe the lesson here is not to exercise 1st Amendment rights trying to inventory someone's 2nd Amendment rights.

    Kudos to the paper for paying for hotel rooms for staff members who don't feel safe at home.

    Whatever you think of the publication in the first place, the response is nothing more than bullying. If I were a gun owner who objected to my name being in that database, I'd be appalled by the people claiming to speak on my behalf.

    Exactly. Going after adults is one thing. Doing something that might put their children in danger is much, much worse.
