ESPN's new notes network: can anyone shed some light?

I've heard from a couple of baseball reporters that ESPN has developed some type of partnership with newspapers from around the country. The way I understand it, beat writers will be responsible for filing pre-game notes to ESPN for the network to use on its web site and on Baseball Tonight.

    Anyone have any details?

And what do newspaper websites get out of increased traffic at the moment? I forget. Oh, that's right, nothing.

Well, given the fact that the title of the original thread gave me absolutely no idea what it was about, I imagine I'm not the only one who overlooked it the first time around.

My bad. Was trying to get too creative with it I guess.
