ESPN's latest perversion of journalistic ethics

Discussion in 'Journalism topics only' started by Scribbled_Notz, Jan 11, 2008.

  1. A scene from Airplane 2008:

Elaine Dickinson: Would you like something to read?
Hanging Lady: Do you have anything light?
Elaine Dickinson: How about this leaflet, Journalism Ethics & ESPN?

  2. Nothing new. SportsCenter just came on, and they're touting a report from an ESPN The Magazine reporter that the Lakers' Andrew Bynum could miss eight weeks with a knee injury. So I go to the Lakers' Web site, where the lead is a press release on Bynum maybe missing eight weeks with a knee injury. Hell of a scoop.
