Agreed, but this sentiment is not shared on the politics board, of course.

So maybe I’m a dick (ok, I am), but that second sentence really rubbed me the wrong way.

Play the victim when it’s merited. Like when you have a life-threatening medical situation. Not when you’re merely dealing with the public part of being a public figure.

Praying that the surgery goes well ..... and she comes out to discover her car has been towed from the hospital parking lot.

I will say, she managed to make that tweet marvelously on-brand.

Never thought the tone of a tweet would make me disgusted with someone dealing with a brain tumor, yet here we are.

Also, who is saying things without consent that would know you have a brain tumor? Outisde of the doctor, it had to be someone you told, so who are you telling that is leaking it?

And her first sentence? These were her two tweets prior

If I had a cancer diagnosis, social media would be the last place I chose to discuss it.

Don’t like the sound of “Get a checkup; it could have saved me.” Hope this not mean she is beyond cure.

I think it just means "I hope it saved me" because it's too early to know.

She strikes me as the type who wouldn't be caring enough to deliver a PSA if her own fate was sealed.

    Head X-rays show nothing.

Perhaps I watch too many medical shows, but is it possible the tumor was affecting her behavior when this thread started?

Sure - I had a friend day way too young of a brain tumor. He was not "himself" for a while before it was diagnosed. Nothing extreme though, just things you'd notice if you'd known him a while.

Or maybe not here, who knows? I wouldn't dismiss it as a possibility.

I can't help but think of the Britt I knew a little bit before she became (in her mind anyway) Big Time Britt. Nice kid, worked hard.

I hope she comes out of this OK.
