Know what? If you want to say that women that go on TV do it to trade on their looks, that being on TV makes them public figures and makes their looks part of their job so you can comment on it, fine.

But Amy does radio. She's not trading on her looks, and to comment on them here is as classless as it gets.

If she were hot, she'd be on TV not radio.

And the only thing worse than watchig ESPN is listening to ESPN radio.

Not disagreeing entirely... but there doesn't seem to be a huge uproar when the board picks on Mark Madden for being a fatso.

That said, I agree her looks have nothing to do with her being mindboggingly bad at her job.

There's not a huge uproar here either. Just me.

But I don't know thing 1 about Mark Madden, other than he's apparently in Pittsburgh doing something. I don't read shit about him, so no, I wouldn't shout down any conversations about him.

  8. Somehow, she looks just like I thought she would. And yes, she is really really bad

I have the occasional misfortune to catch some of those fill-in long-relief assignments by Lawrence, and have noted how her delivery is totally devoid of rhythm. I am no radio talent, but I am an avid listener -- and she is HARD to listen to.

I'd speculate she knew someone at ESPN or someone would have liked to know her better, so strings were pulled. And it isn't just Amy. Happens all the time with talent across the country where you go "how the hell did he/she get THAT job?"

That number is way too low -- part 3,891 of ESPN stupidity was probably years ago.

I'm hoping that wasn't directed toward me because if asking if a chick is hot or not is classless, about 99.9 percent of guys in this country -- and 33 percent of women -- are classless.
