So, you're somehow regarded as less of a man by your peeps if you're out
tipping a few at some hip club in the wee hours WITHOUT a piece?

Thing is Plax's antics haven't hurt the Giants. If the situation were different and if he dropped a key pass or wasn't able to play and the Giants lost it wouldn't be all saving Private Ryan/3 Musketeers/Us Against the world in the lockerroom. It would be that this guy is a knucklehead. They have already replaced Mike Strahan and Tiki Barber. Don't think that Buress won't be gone next year.

I have read all this stuff about how the injuries aren't life-threatening, but nary a syllable regarding whether the injury is career-threatening.

The injury is not nearly as career-threatening as the legal ramifications likely will be.

Ricky Williams had to give the Dolphins his $8M signing bonus back.

It would seem this sort of scenario is in play here.

I don't think probation and a hefty fine would be career-threatening.

Doesn't possesion of an illegal handgun in NYC come with an automatic 1 year jail sentence, or has that law changed?

They don't plead those down to suspended sentences or probation?
