I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Cassel is a free agent.

Which is they they would slap the franchise tag on Cassel, making him a $14 million quarterback for next season -- unless they can work a trade, like the Chiefs did after they franchised Jared Allen a year ago.

I'd imagine they save it for someone else they really do need to keep around, but I guess it wouldn't surprise me.

All I know is I don't wanna see Bradford in a Chiefs jersey next season.

Because you dislike Bradford or because you dislike the Chiefs?

If Brady is deemed healthy by the draft, I expect Kansas City to try to work out a trade for Cassel.

Because I'm not sold on Bradford. Don't think he'll help the Chiefs. Might as well stick with Thigpen.
I'm not sold on ANY QB in this draft.

Haven't had a top-flight QB since the '60s? Bears fans should be so lucky.

I didn't see much of Thigpen outside of weekly highlights, but it seems pretty impressive that he was able to generate the points he did in that offense. He certainly did better than Croyle or Huard when given the chance.

You may not have to worry if the WWL is correct

Ehhh, just means the Chiefs will take him next year. Then again, Peterson won't be there so maybe their drafts will improve.
