Hey, there's depth in that department that Pioli helped develop. The Pats will miss him, but will ultimately be OK.
With Dimitroff's success in Atlanta, it shows that the Pats front office has done a great job developing people other teams want. That bodes well for the Pats' future.

Thigpen was actually a draft pick of the Minnesota Vikings.

Kansas City actually won that game.

Obviously you never saw any Detroit Lions games under Rod Marinelli (don't feel bad, few others did, either).

That's beside the point. He still played not to lose.

Hey there's a minute and 21 seconds left in the half. We have the ball, and three timeouts. Lets run it for -2 yards with Aveoin Caseon.

    Wait wasn't he cut?

    Yes. Like 9 times.

Thigpen helped lead me to a fantasy league title. (Hi spnited!)

Yeah, I know FF success isn't the same as in the "real world," but what exactly did the guy do wrong? You'd think the Chiefs would try to fix their defense before using a high draft pick on a quarterback.

I agree. I think Thigpen deserves the chance to start.

Hell, he was more fearless than Croyle and Huard combined. Poise in the pocket -- that's hard to teach.

Drafting a quarterback or trading for Matt Cassel? Given the connection, it's not out of the question.

Those in KC -- will Herm Edwards go to Indy to join that staff or is he likely headed for TV?
