Holy SHIT, is anyone watching this excerpt on SportsCenter?

Interviews with the fellow platoonmen who witnessed the shooting.

Fucking riveting. I cannot believe this made it to air.

I was about to go to bed when this came on. Now, I'm not going to be able to sleep for a bit. This is truly amazing stuff. For all the crap ESPN gets on here -- things like this show why it can be a good network.

Agreed, 35. This is some remarkable work.

And I can't believe they got all these guys to talk on camera. I find it very hard to believe there wasn't pressure from "up high" to let this go.

It's the best work ESPN has done in years. Give the devil his due.

No kidding. Glad to see the sensationalism and other stuff disappear.

    Nice work, ESPN.

  8. Yep, it and the last SI piece were both excellent.

I was fortunate enough to meet and cover Pat both at Arizona State and with the Cardinals, and his death still bothers me. He was a special person.

As good as Gary Smith's story was, he couldn't do the visualization that ESPN did with the computer animation. That was a damn fine job by ESPN.

    Outside the Lines just started.

What a shock: Of those with Tillman at the time of his death, only those who are no longer in the armed forces spoke. Gotta keep quiet! Everything is going great!

You ... You ... Y-Y-You mean w-w-w-we're not winning over there?

Haven't seen the Tillman piece yet, but I'll make sure I do. OTL is about the only show worth watching on ESPN other than live events.
