ESPN: Les Miles to remain at LSU

    And, apparently, works for less money than he could earn if he were all about the money. I'm sure he's turned down every pay raise and contract extension he's been offered.

    Some people are criticizing Les Miles because he had the "out" clause in his contract allowing him to go to Michigan.

    Let's not be too rough on him for that one. First, there was a $1.25 million bayout attached to it. Second, that kind of clause is fairly common in college contracts. It's rarer in the BCS conferences, whose schools are more likely to be "destinations" rather than "stepping stones," but it does happen.
