ESPN involved in recruiting violation

    That's classic poker. As in, it was taped last week, so therefore, it's classic.
     
  2. This doesn't seem like a good way to impress a recruit.

    Geno: Maya, I'd like you to meet Sean Salisbury.

    Maya: Hiya, Sean.

    Sean: Hold on, let me get my cell phone.

    Little surprised they didn't try to take complete ownership of the article as in "ESPN first reported ..." or of some similar ilk. Just ". . . a source told ESPN."

    Also I like how ESPN now has the ability to be quoted as " . . . ESPN said." instead of " said a PR rep from ESPN.' or even "a source from ESPN."

    Summitt is anything but warm and fuzzy, but she has one hell of a presence and I've liked her in my limited dealings with her.

    Auriemma is one of the biggest douchebags in sports on any level. He's a great coach, but he is a complete puke of a human being.

    That said, both of them hating each other is great for women's college hoops...
